India’s leading drone manufacturer and service provider, Marut Drones, was invited to participate in a day-long workshop on Stewardship and Innovative Technology in Crop Protection and conducted farmer’s awareness sessions on Artificial Intelligence and Drone Technology – “The Future of Agriculture Through Drones” at the Regional Agricultural Research Station in Warangal on February 17, 2023.
The event was attended by students, researchers, academicians, and agriculturists. The chief guest, Mrs. Usha Dayal, the district agriculture officer for Warangal, gave a speech on how to make the country a leader in cutting-edge technologies, particularly in agriculture.
In a session on “Artificial Intelligence and Drone Technologies,” Mr. Prem Kumar Vislawath, Founder of Marut Drones provided an overview of the country’s present drone technology landscape and suggested a course of action. The session sought to assist both students and agricultural research stakeholders. Marut Drones demonstrated its drones and showcased its capabilities in agriculture to farmers and students.
The Founder of Marut Drones, Mr. Prem Kumar Vislawath said, “This is an ideal time for us to be at the workshop because the students will get some hands-on experience which is crucial in giving them the right exposure to the drone industry in India and understanding the right skills they need to acquire in this direction. Our objective is to make India an ‘Atmanirbhar’ in terms of creative technologies, and we’re sharing it with you here.”

Marut Drones recently participated in the Youth20 (Y20) Inception Meeting as a prestigious panellist at the three-day event. The Government of India hosted Y20 at IITG between February 6 and 8, intending to give youth a platform to voice their concerns about issues facing the modern world, contribute their vision and ideas to the G20 leaders’ policy-making process through policy recommendations, and lay the foundation for Y20 programmes during India’s G20 Presidency.
